Requirements for Online Notarization:
Access to a desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device with camera and microphone
A stable, high-speed internet connection
A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID
Ability to pass Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) for identity verification.
Note: A basic understanding of how to use a computer and navigate online platforms is required to complete remote online notarization successfully.
Remote Online Notary
Mobile Notary Services allow you to have eligible documents notarized in person at a convenient location. This service is ideal for individuals, families, professionals, hospitals, care facilities, and clients who prefer or require face-to-face notarization support.
Requirements for Mobile Notarization:
Access to a safe, appropriate, and agreed-upon meeting location
A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID
All signers must be physically present at the appointment
Documents must be complete and ready for notarization before the appointment begins
All required witnesses, if applicable, must be present and have valid identification
Note: Please do not sign your document before the appointment unless instructed by the issuing organization. The notary must witness the signing when required by the notarial act.

Notary services are available for many estate-related and important legal documents, including powers of attorney, affidavits, advance directives, trust-related documents, and other prepared documents requiring notarization. Please note that legal advice, document preparation, and document selection are not provided.

Mobile Notarization
Mobile notary services are available for clients who need an in-person notarization at an approved location. This option is ideal for homes, offices, hospitals, care facilities, and other scheduled meeting locations where the signer is present, willing, and able to complete the notarization.
I-9 Authorized Representative
Form I-9 assistance is available when an employer authorizes a third party to review identification and employment eligibility documents on its behalf. This service is not a notarization, and no notary seal is placed on the I-9 form.
Notary services are available for vehicle title-related documents, ownership transfer forms, affidavits, and other personal or business documents that may require notarized signatures. Each request is reviewed to confirm the document type, signer identity, and notarization requirements before the appointment.

Identification Requirements
What are the ID requirements for notary services?
All signers must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID at the time of notarization. This is required by law to verify your identity and complete the notarial act properly. Acceptable forms of identification include:
United States passport
United States passport card
Certificate of United States citizenship
Certificate of naturalization
Foreign passport
United States green card (Permanent Resident Card) with photograph
State issued driver’s license
State issued identification card
United States military identification card.

If you are unsure which notarial certificate your document requires, please consult the issuing agency or seek legal guidance before your appointment. Notaries are not authorized to determine which notarial act you need. If your document does not include notarial wording, a loose certificate may be provided, but you must specify the type required.
